NY StateWide Senior Action Council will hold it’s annual state budget briefing in two parts.
1. Thursday January 30, at 10AM on the Governor’s proposed budget for the NYS Office for Aging.

2. Thursday February 20, at 10AM on issues of concern to older residents in the rest of the budget, including Medicaid.

The NYS Legislature will be holding hearings on the proposals.

  • Wednesday, January 29 at 9:30 AM for the Department of Health and Mental Health hearing, when Medicaid will be discussed.
  • Thursday, January 30 at 9:30 AM for the Human Services hearing, when multiple agencies including Aging will be discussed.Note: we recognize this is in conflict with StateWide’s 10AM call.
