Healthy Neighborhoods Program

The Healthy Neighborhoods Program (HNP) is a FREE program committed to creating healthier neighborhoods one home at a time by reducing environmental health and safety issues in the home. HNP provides in-home safety visits with FREE safety supplies for qualifying residents including free smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.  Check with your county organization to find out more information.

What Counties Participate?

Eighteen counties and New York City are currently funded to provide services to residents in target neighborhoods. Services vary in each county. To learn more about who is eligible to participate or what services are available in each county, visit your county’s website:
