There is important legislation before the state government and we urge you to call your elected representatives in support. Senate Bill S3005 calls for the expansion of EPIC, a program that helps keep prescription drug co-pays affordable.
- The bill keeps the application a simple process,
- ensures that a cost of living benefit change does not throw someone off the program, and
- allows Medicare enrollees under age 65 to apply.
This is legislation StateWide wrote after hearing about problems on our Helpline. We should all remember the EPIC program was created by StateWide’s advocacy efforts.
