Message: The budget must address three things to address home care needs. I urge you to provide funding to:
- eliminate the waiting lists for aging services,
- repeal Medicaid home care changes to qualify for community Medicaid services through the asset look back (as in Senate bill 6414 /Assembly bill 9278) and limits on activities of daily living (as in Senate bill 328 /Assembly bill 6346), and
- stop the cuts to the Consumer Directed Personal Care program.
