The New York budget negotiations continue through next week, at least, and may not be resolved until the end of this month.  We urge you to contact your state Assembly and Senate representatives to ask that the budget include a provision to ensure Medicaid covers comprehensive dental care.

Message: Please urge the Health Joint Budget Subcommittee to include in final budget negotiations S3566/A1931, legislation to make permanent a recent court settlement that requires the Medicaid program to provide coverage for comprehensive dental care.  The Senate has already included this legislation in its one-house budget resolution.
