Congress and the White House have avoided any possible government shutdowns in the near future by agreeing to a budgetary spending authorization and raising the borrowing cap.  The agreement increases domestic spending and stops the scheduled reinstatement of the sequester spending cuts.  See this link to read the outline of the agreement as spelled out by the Speaker of the House.
