EMERGING ISSUES

grassroots day 2014 3

May 20, 2014 – Hundreds of New York seniors participated in Grassroots Advocacy Day and showed support for Safe Staffing legislation.  Read StateWide’s position paper on safe staffing ratios.

Over 200 seniors visited more than 50 state legislators and those that remained at the conference learned how to get their friends and family to support issues of importance to New York seniors.

It’s important to show the strength of a unified senior voice for quality health care and consumer protections.
